DOH is fine. I transitted there earlier this year. Loads of space and good shopping. No jetways, but the buses are efficient. From what I could see, construction on the new terminal hasn't even started yet.
I've had completely the opposite experience, twice
Nowhere to sit, crowded terminals, delays, long lines for washrooms, had to go in the bus in sweltering heat etc etc. I think I was there during the peak rush though (December and middle of the night)
I hope to try out the new Premium Terminal this summer.
