I did pay for my original room and was not refunded in any way (non-refundable reservation).
The other hotel was paid for; so for my original price I got a less conveinent location and a lot of hassle.
Thanks for the posts, I think I will ask for a refund. I think that is acceptable for my hassle. I am not one to complain and try and get the maximum compensation, but I want to bring this to Hilton's attention and make sure that they know how poorly the situation was handled.

You definitely have every right to demand a refund on what you pre-paid. Hopefully the hotel gets it resolved, if not dispute the charge on your CC (if your still within your dispute "window") for failure to deliver a purchase service (the service being your hotel room at that property).
