My apologies. I took the wording the wrong way. Getting 'walked' to another hotel is new wording to me and it sounded like making light of the situation. Obviously that was not the intent.

I did pay for my original room and was not refunded in any way (non-refundable reservation).

The other hotel was paid for; so for my original price I got a less conveinent location and a lot of hassle.

Thanks for the posts, I think I will ask for a refund. I think that is acceptable for my hassle. I am not one to complain and try and get the maximum compensation, but I want to bring this to Hilton's attention and make sure that they know how poorly the situation was handled.

Thank
