I hate to think how crowded this gets for the evening flights, when you could have a full J cabins worth of pre-flight diners plus whichever silver card holders are slumming it in W or Y.
They've cut the corner? Where the hell is the telly then? I'll be very annoyed if I can't watch tv when next there. Terminal E is a hell hole and anything that gets you away from that is a benefit in my book, so I'm less distressed about the lounge quality (except if they've taken away the telly). BTW it's not in the basement, it's in the mezzanine level of 'E' and used to be reached landside (now airside), up the stairs next to check in on the ground floor, & then down a long dimly lit corridor with mirrors and red neon lights (which I think is still there). Which now I think about it seems very Amsterdam like.

The seats are a bit dirty (stained but otherwise clean) but very comfortable evidenced by the fact I've drifted off to sleep seated there, and the dragon, the last time I was there, was anything but dragon like and very friendly. My Mum prefers the Terraces to the F lounge , but this is a good thing as Dad has dropped to silver this year for the first time since he became Gold (which is virtually since the EC started) so no F lounge any more for them.

Used to be much bigger before they annexed space for the preflight dinning (which was very good last time I was there). Best advice go expecting it to be dreadfull and then anything above that is a bonus.
