Box must be within 62 linear inches , and no more than 50 lbs.

If you are reusing an existing box, make sure all previous labels and warning signs are removed or covered.

Agents are 'supposed' to have you sign the limited liability release on the back of the bag tag , as with boxes AA wont accept claims for any damages due to inadequate packaging.
