Every time you claim the baggage absence to major airlines, baggage claim agent will issue you the 10-digit file reference number, such as "YYZ AC 01234". Under this file number, you and any airlines involved can share information at WorldTracer system like this. Each airline has its own gateway page, but you will enter the same database system from any entrance.

The record usually contains infos like:
  • passenger name(s)
  • permanent address
  • temporary address(es) and expiry date(s)
  • phone numbers
  • flight number(s)
  • claim tag number(s)
  • delivery request
  • delivery status
  • baggage characteristics and contents

You can even send free-text messages to the airline, but usually the only response could be the update to the above informations, if any.
