i don't have a lot of experience with ua, any advice is welcome :

i have an award flight booked sfo-lax in y connecting to lax-jfk in f.

i am connecting sfo-lax in y because a) no direct flight sfo-jfk is available at the moment and b) no f is available sfo-lax. will i be able to use any lounge/f check in at sfo? will i be able to have an f baggage allowance?

what is the lax-jfk ps service like in f? at lax can i use the international f lounge? any hints/tips i should bare in mind?

also, is it likely that sfo-lax will become available in f nearer the time (travelling 11th june) or even sfo-jfk on the ps service? i am looking to fly overnight to make sure i have a full day in nyc the next day.
