Try to make it as simple and as painless as possible for participants. Agree about putting in up in surveymonkey or zoomerang, and posting a link...also, might want to report back the results to this thread, as it gives some incentive to fill it out. There have been others who have successfully perform surveys for school projects on FT, so you might want to do some digging to see what they've done.
