Another suggestion: online booking for departures within 72 hours. If CX can let me book for travel starting 3 hours hence rather than 3 days, I don't see why TG can't. Assuming of course that the TG online booking system works at all.
I appreciate that not everybody has to fly at short notice, but those that do are (I would estimate) predominantly business travellers and thus probably paying higher fares.
Anyway, TG has just lost my flight in F to HK on Wednesday to CX J. Sorry guys - count yourselves lucky it's only THB 30,000 lost this time.
