I'm sure there have been previous threads on this, but a quick search didn't give what I was looking for. Feel free to point me at specific threads if you guys remember anyway.

Basically, a friend and I were trying to figure out where to kill two weeks of vacation time, and we've decided on southeast Asia. We just haven't decided specifically where yet.

We had debated flying into BKK, spending a few days there, and then working our way into Cambodia.

I suggested flying into SIN, spend one day there (gotta check that city off the list of places I've been!), take an LCC into Malaysia, then work our way over to BKK.

I guess what I want to know is ... if you had two weeks to kill in that general part of the world, how would you spend them? Are Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar or Brunei worth visits?
