The question here is does the competition offer any better ?
Will you slump it in Y with a 3-3 seating and birdseed?

For leisure flight up to 2 or 3 hours, I would concur with a downgrade to Y but any longer and those few extra inches make a world of difference.

If it is any comfort, GB Airways from LGW has better food and service than BA mainstream.
