Non-IC properties only, experiences from '07 only:
- CP Vancover: upgrade to "suite" + water & fresh fruits
- HI (or HIX) Portland: coupons for something (coffee/fruits or I dunno)
- CP Ikebukuro: upgrade, two drink-coupons, fresh fruits + various other things (but I stay there a lot, so it may be "frequent gai-jin" benefit, not plat benefit)
- HI Narita Airport: two coupons for drink/food discount + room upgrade (but I also come a lot there)
- HI Garden In - Le Cannet France: not a thing
- HI Civic Center SF: "less bad" view, early check-in
I can't remember for the other places I've been, but nothing that's impressed me. In general, I don't expect any PLAT benefits when I go somewhere, but am pleased when I do. I do expect that the hotels where I come frequently and bring them lots of addtl. business remember me, and CP and HI in Japan do -- but that's not related to my plat status.
