I agree with you that Kimpton "gets" it. One of my favorite touches is the evening wine reception.

I also think you'd enjoy Omni Hotels. They're more staid than Kimpton, but they offer similarly nice touches like your choice of fresh juice in the mornings, late check out, etc.
