There's no doubt that traveling is drudgery. And I sympathize with the Road Warriers who miss out on family time. However, unless "heavy travel" wasn't disclosed to you during the job interview, it's what you voluntarily signed up for. And while you might not get added pay, I certainly hope that you are well compensated for it.

Of course, we all have dismal parts to our jobs and not everyone ends up with "sweet" bonuses at the end of the year. It's a nice perk. Good for you.

I think the fact that we all love this website is a testament that we ALL love a good bargain. So why the animosity towards others who are doing exactly as they would do or are currently doing?

As I said before, applaud people who can book a reward week at a fabulous resort because they accumulated a bunch of hotel points. I don't really care how they earned them, as long as it was honest.
