NZ Airpoints website review by Inside Flyer
In May 2007 edition (not free to non-subscribers) a short review of the website.

They seemed to like content, speed and layout. Didn't like FAQ (too detailed), and unable to join for free online (for those who qualify).

Since review is of the FFP website, not the full site, no mention of the hassles with booking engines.
