This is a topic I have thought about plenty. This [Lufthansa] is the ONLY thing I miss about United (aside from PS, but I think the revamped trans-con AA service will be better).

The LH flight from LAX to MUC is fantastic. If you stick with AA, you gotta go through LHR. The DFW-FRA is ridiculous and will take a lot of time.

Simple as that.

I stick with AA too, I play the mileage game!
