This might sound like a stupid question, but are those two things intended as gifts to keep? Or are they decorative additions to the room? I've been to another hotel where they had a teddy bear in the room but there was a charge to take it home. IMO, if it's intended as a gift to take home, they should include a little note somewhere to say so.

It's like trying to figure out whether or not the bottled water is free?
