Thanks, that clears things up .. seems like my interpretation of the rules seemed half way accurate. Not sure about changing the FFP number at the gate. I guess I will add my MM# to the booking, plonk down my 40 kg of luggage at check-in and ask the agent to change the FFP number. Might be a good idea to have a copy of the FTL brochure with me though.
