If Koreans drove much as we did here in the states, it would be an uncontrolled chaotic traffic in Seoul. Most people in Seoul stick to public transit for this reason and prefer to walk little further rather than be stuck in traffic. Have you noticed how much gas is in Korea? 4 or 5 times what is costs here. I would be walking too if gas was that expensive. At $3.00 / gallon, traffic in Seoul would probably move to a dead stop.
