Given that nowadays I barely receive a smile as TG Gold when travelling TG, I thought that this attention to detail - especially on an overbooked flight - was really impressive, especially when my loyalty card is with another airline!
I must say I so envy your wonderful experience in Y with CX. You don't get that as you said on TG as ROP*G in Y, nor C and F when the cabin is full. It's ok when the loading is low then the FA comes around.

So yes TG, get your act together and look around. If you cannot come up with bright smart ideas to enhance your service, at least do the equivalent as what your neighbours (SQ/CX) do.

p.s. and stop ranking pax on the bottled water that's given out inflight! Why only 1 bottle of Evian ONLY for F pax and 1 bottle of Vittel ONLY for C pax and none for Y? Is it really asking too much for more than 1 bottle of water on an overnight flight?
