The OZ flights I had the 777 in day during summer was unbearable, but the FA did get the pilots to drop the temperature. The 747, winter and at night so there really was not much of an issue there.
I fly TG 737's all the time and they all have the air nozzles. All 737's in Asia I've ever been on have them including several LCCs. I've also been on probably all of TG's A300's and none of them have the air nozzles. I've been on a few different SQ Airbus aircraft but can't recall which models and none of them had air nozzles and were perhaps the hottest aircraft I've ever been on with the blaring Singapore sun and heat. I complained a couple times to the flight attendant, but to no avail as the cabin temperature never changed.

I do notice however that the business class cabin seems to be cooler than the economy cabin on many airlines. This is particularly noticeable to me on TG A300's. Business class is very pleasant while economy is a real oven.
