Heck yeah! Of course, that's one thing I'll never understand.... Boeing basically BUILT the 772LR for Qantas, which was supposed to be the launch customer for the original 9000mi-range 772X. When Boeing re-tweaked the aircraft to feature 10,000mi possible range; which would theoretically enable QF to serve ORD, DFW, and JFK nonstop from SYD (a feat that the A345 and 744XQLR cannot offer);... no one [yet!] ordered the aircraft other than EVA!!

Could the GE-only requirement be a reason QF has shown no interest in this craft? I know this is a major issue with SQ, TG, and others.
