I am trying to help some friends get from Nagoya Airport to Kyoto. I saw that the Shinkansen from Nagoya Station to Kyoto is fast and relatively cheape. However, how do you get from Nagoya Airport to Nagoya Station? Train, bus, taxi? Is there a direct route from Nagoya Airport to Kyoto where you don't even have to change trains? What are relative costs? How hard is this to manage with luggage? Does Nagoya airport have takyubin service to deliver luggage to Kyoto?
