I just tried to use the new "Stopover/Multi-City Itinerary" option at singaporeair.com and
SAN does not appear on the list of departure cities. Go figure.
So, it still appears to me that it is
not possible to purchase a SAN-HKG round trip ticket from the singaporeair.com website.
