I was booked on my trip from ORD - LHR in 21H in E+ (on the 777) at the end of the month, and I got a call today from United Reservations stating that by their own fault, this seat was originally assigned to someone else. Apparently there must have been someone REALLY VIP who originally had this seat, because I was just given a confirmed regional upgrade to give it up. I accepted their gracious offer when I was reassigned to seat 17B.

However, I was told the confirmed regional upgrade would be mailed to my house, and they confirmed my address. Do they still have paper regional upgrades? I thought these went the way of the dodo -- or am I about to get hosed?!?
