Not just feel, they are. Substantially. The new trains on the Virgin line tilt to go round bends. As the bridges etc have not been altered the trains have to be notably smaller to fit under them no matter what angle they are tilted to. And you pay for this with a much smaller seat size (not, you understand, with a smaller fare though).
