I had just moved house and had boxes everywhere. I spent 2hrs ripping everything apart, then I drove to the parents to check some boxes I had put in the attic (they weren't best pleased me turning up at 4am) and after getting home at 5am I almost gave up hope of my trip. Then I suddenly remembered I had visited the solicitor a few days before the house purchase. I checked the house purchase file and there was the bl**din passport sat with the other "proofs of ID" that the solicitor had required! Argh!
Needless to say I slept all the way to Boston!
Ahh, but did you leave your keys in the door after you left?
I have a tendency to do that in hotels. It's not that I have an open access policy at 2am in the morning just I forget that I've actually opened the door with a key

. Rest assured I will not be forgetting the room key when in EDI
