I have several dozen "Very Very Large" contracts with Hilton and Hilton Family hotels. Normally they will always give you 1 airline point & 1 HH point. However some hotels are starting to go away from the airline point and just do the HH points. You should be able to negotiate this in to the contract before it is signed. Also mentioning what other hotels give as perks is recommended. I would suggest having a hotel contract negotiator look over or handel your contact if you are not sure on some stuff. 10K is probably not worth it. 100K would be where I would get a little more demanding. 1 million a contract you should have a professional contract rep and your attorney look at it. Also using your HH credit card is the way to go. Payment terms should be outlined in the contract. You should always be allowed to use your credit card unless it states on your contract a check, and in that case I would not sign your contract with that clause in it. That is where the hotel will make an extra 3% on you since they do not have to charge the merchant fee that go along taking a credit card.
