I just looked at Alitalia's website and they canceled well over 100 flights on May 3rd & 4th... what's going on? It doesn't look to be the entire timetable for those two days but it has to be a huge portion of their daily flights...

I know Alitalia is in a bit of trouble, but I thought they had enough cash to operate at least through the summer?

Makes me a bit nervous as I have a flight booked with them at the end of June. They weren't my first choice of carriers, but the only other option for a similar arrival time at my destination was Austrian at nearly twice the price.
