We just had our wedding at a Hilton, and it was amazing, but the amount of points we got was a joke - 10,000. While I won't publish how much we spent on the wedding, it was 200 people in the New York area, and included a smaller casual dinner the night before as well. Being a big fans of points, we tried to negotiate this amount but we were flatly turned down. This Hilton is independently owned which might have played a part of it.
