1. I specifically mentioned that 25,000 miles on Delta or 100 TrueBlue points on jetBlue earn a free coach r/t - on Delta in the domestic U.S. 48 states...and on jetBlue to any jetBlue destination...because technically, Cancun or Santo Domingo for instance is "international"...I know, I know...it's not overseas. That's why I say "ANY jetBlue destination"...to be fair.
2. Other perks of status beyond free tickets...that's why I asked is it really worth paying those skyhigh walk-up fares in some cases? Sure, for some people it is worth that...several factors must be weighed. For example, can the individual afford it? Will the individual fly enough the following year to really enjoy and take advantage of those perks? Is the UG rate high? etc., etc., etc.
To sum it all up, all my "analysis" is doing is showing that it's
QUICKER to earn a free (economy) r/t on jetBlue than it is on Delta.
