The taxes on plane tickets are the biggest mental block for me. I can often find Priceline hotels for $70-$85 a night, so not such a big deal there. The last time I spent any time in London, the pound was 1.60 to the dollar, so somewhat of a shock, but I'm used to the dollar going in the toilet the last few years, so no surprise there.
