I had planned to go for about a week next month. Still going, but spending 2 days in Paris meeting up with my daughter who's on her first trip. 3 nights in London at the top of my trip are now at the Hoxton with a blended rate of 72 GPB per night, and were prepaid before the pound crossed the $2 level. Got one of their 29 pound rates, one at 59 during the Valentines sale, and added one at (ouch) 129, but averaged out it's not bad.

I changed the back end of my trip where I had another 2 nights in London. Still in London but instead of staying at a bargain hotel I've used before in Bayswater at 65 pounds/night, I'm now using 48,000 Hilton points for a Point Stretcher 2-night at the Canary Wharf Hilton.

If I hadn't already booked the air, and more importantly, coordinated the timing with when MsXS would be in Paris, I'd probably skip the trip entirely. As it was, I was tempted to just rebook the air to hit France only, or France and Italy, but I'd already prepaid the Hoxton nights.

Last trip to the UK for a while at these prices though!
