It's quite true that recognition for *A Golds on SQ is seriously lacking.
Benefits like preferred seating in Y and clearing of waitlists are (rightly, imho) kept for their own elite tier PPS members.
LH and NH also don't do seating in Y for UA*G and UA stopped giving *G from other airlines E+ access.
LH is probably the most generous to UA members and vice versa due to the revenue sharing.
