Three years ago, I stayed in the "Out of Africa" room at Inn at Volcano, and I'd definitely stay again. The staff was very helpful. The food at breakfast was outstanding, and it was more like a restaurant setting with a server bringing the various courses. The room was very well kept. Two years ago it was booked up for the dates I was traveling, so I wound up at one of their other locations (Lokahi Lodge), which also had a nice breakfast, though it was more buffet style. I've not stayed at any cottage in the area, so I cannot speak to that.
