As for indemnity on AC, apparently if a physician is relucatant to help because of liability concerns, the crew has documents that essentially make you a temporary AC employee and as such are covered under their liability.
Unlike USA & other countries where MalPractice Insurance is offered by multiple insurers;in Canada CMPA is the only private insurer.It would be interesting how CMPA would view AC's "temporary employee policy".
Is it CMPA that will cover the doctor or private insurer under the AC "Temporary Employee"?
One must also ask,does AC have unlimited covered which would be essential considering the large settlements that are routinely given out by juries in North America.
