This one is a bit tricky because I am on an eye drop called Restasin for an eye infection. The infection dried out my tear production. It comes in little plastic ampules. I am afraid to pack these in my checked bag in case my bag gets lost. I am going to be in Hawaii for 19 nights and need two of these a day. It is a box of 32 ampules

The prescription label is on the plastic wrap on the outside of the box so I can't open this box so I have proof to show the TSA that it is a prescrition. I do have an opened box that I am now using, so I can put some of my opened ones in my quart sized zip lock to fill my need for 38 ampules total.

Will they give me a hard time because these exceed a total of 3oz. of liquid? I will declare them of course, but I am nervous that they will not let these through. I have done a search here, but haven't run across this issue. What is your opinion?
