I would echo yor comments.We flew BHX>>DXB>>BKK return in EK biz class and the a/c were variable in terms of seating,food and service exacerbated by a/c changes. The EK lounge in BKK however was very good,we were there New years eve/new years day and despite no celebrations at all it was a relief as there were bombs going off in BKK as we left for the airport.We flew Thai biz the year before and it was far better but more expensive. This coming Christmas we're flying BA biz to SIN curtesy of miles so we'll see how that goes.
