Find a helpful AA agent and ask them to "segment relate" the FF numbers you want for each sector-and then call back and check it is done.
In that way the FF number instead of been inserted to cover the entire trip is added flight by flight so *should* post correctly and over-ride any instruction held in your profile if you have it set that way.
