Lightbulb Security Cameras in Bathrooms?

Hi, everyone!

I'm sure it's already obvious, but I'm new here. I've been lurking around here, but finally mustered up enough energy to sign in. So, be patient with this newbie for now!

There's something that has been on my mind for a long time now - I wonder if airport bathrooms have security cameras? The ones I've gone in (both pre and post-security) didn't appear to have any cameras watching, but you never know (they have cameras that can fit in smoke detectors). I know this seems funny, but I called two different airports to ask - one said absolutely not, and the other said they had cameras monitoring the bathroom entrances.

What do you think? I know they definitely don't have them in the stalls, but how about the washing/mirror areas? I'd be pretty creeped out if there were cameras watching me there, but I guess it technically would make sense, in this post 9/11 world. Still, ew.

Thanks, and looking forward to hearing your answers!

-Andy
