Over the past several years, I would often go to London when I had the spare week of off-season vacation or for an extended Thanksgiving weekend. But with the rise in flight taxes and the current exchange rate, London was discarded as an option pretty quickly this time in thinking about where to go for a week off in May - going to California instead. With things the way they are, I most likely won't be going to London at all this year. So yes, it has changed my usual travel pattern, keeping me away from the UK.
