I should buy Big Island Revealed! The boat tour is an excellent idea.

I'm steering toward either this room at the Inn at Volcano (how was the candlelight breakfast?) or a cottage through Country Goose or Chalet Kilauea (cute!).

Again, it is a question of if the cottages are worthwhile for their seclusion and privacy, vs. the convenience and the breakfast/ambience at the Inn.
I love the choices - does anyone here have a V.V. cottage they would like to recommend? Worked out well for us at Cape Cod.
