Well I've managed an upgrade on 5/6 segments in the past 30 days, but they were all pretty light loads and no mid or trans-cons (I use AA for those). Didn't see a sign on any of them, was offered upgrade at OLCI on the two full-fare Ys.

Even if they do, you'd have to fly on your AS FF# to get the upgrade, which kind of defeats the whole purpose.
