Message to AA: please keep flying LGA-CMH with a regular frequency!
Which Skybus flight is going to force AA out of the LGA-CMH market? The once daily to Richmond or the once daily to Boston?
Ryanair copied Southwest only without the service and with considerably less comfort. Skybus is now bringing the Ryanair model back across the pond only without the frequency. All their flights are once a day. Jet Blue and SWA both know that you can't open a market (except B6's transcons, exceptions with good reason) without running at least three flights a day. If I want to fly from OAK to anywhere but CMH, I'll have to spend the night in Columbus both ways! Even if I were interested in exploring the joys of 29" pitch and no phone supportl I couldn't do it for any destination but CMH.
I don't think AA is sweating and I personally put the over/under on Skybus longevity at 10/15/07.
