Innocent walks on the beach will be more productive if done down by the wall around the gay beach area. Ask anyone during the day where the gay beach is (if you can't spot it a mile away) and around there is where to go at night. You can get a beautiful suntan (or was it a glow) at 4am. I was suprised. The stars, the moon and his hands were in my hair.

Also, before the bars close, a number of the bars such as XXL, Bear Bar and others have rather frisky areas that are perfectly acceptable there, not like the nose in the air attitude in the US. So I see that you have noticed it too.

Sitges has a wonderful gay map which is available at just about any gay bar or retail outlet. I also think that it is online.

I am certainly not from there, but I can tell you that it is not hard to find whatever you are looking for.

Sitges is great. 330+ days of sunshine a year. Wonderful bars. Great beach. Very, very little attitude. Reasonable places to stay. Great sea side restaurants and very little money. Even during the hotest part of the summer, the temperature rarely goes over 85. And at night, it is wonderfully comfortable. You could really do without air conditioning with just a fan.

The only thing I was put off by was some of the outrageous prices at some of the gay stores, but I guess that is everywhere. So have fun, just do your shopping before you get there!

I am going in August for twelve (did I say 12?) days. I was there last year. Oh, what the hell, I have been there so often that most of the bartenders know me by name.
