I have written numerous letters to BAA re their UK operation and lack of shoehorns and they haven't even bothered to reply. An e-mail to DUB for the same thing brought a "We're looking into it" reply.

For heavens sake if DME and SVO could supply them up until a short while ago when the new scanners came into use, then surely our UK airports should!

Also IIRC OSL has shoe-horns and at JFK last year although none on display, one was produced when I asked!

For those with the fuller figure like myself, it makes it so much easier to get my shoes back on and stops me holding up the queue!
