obviously there are cars available at sixt berlin (just try without the special offer). the new airport special from sixt is a joke to say the least. it is valid til 2nd of may, so only next weekend, it is only from friday to monday (BIG difference to europcar) and still it is more expensive than the europcar offer. so there is absoluetly no reason to try this offer.
btw, had a cpmr booking with europcar last weekend and got an x3. the first card really makes a difference, even though the staff is still unfriendly in my opinion.
Last weekend I got a TT roaster for a CPMR at Munich airport! tried the same at LUX airport and there was a very different answer!
Europcar Lux Aiport is a franchise. They are not interested in what HQ says. " We do it our way here in LUX!" I was told, anyway, a quick tip is to keep a copy of your resa and then all is sorted!
