I just booked a room on the Luxury Collection website and when the confirmation page came up it had a notation: Please note: This hotel does not participate in Starwood Preferred Guest.

I called the hotel directly to find out what that meant exactly and the person I spoke to said that the statement was entirely incorrect and that I will be getting points for the stay and recognition of my status. Hopefully someone will fix the statement on the confirmation page.
