Had an interesting Mel - Sin flight yesterday. Firstly they insisted that i couldn't take my bag on board in C since it was heavy ( about12kgs). While that may well be the rule, normally they just get a tag on it so that I can sail thru. The interesting part was when we landed, since we were delayed, we didn't have a gate for us!. So they had to bus us from the tarmac. Took them about 20 minutes after we landed to get the buses going. Since the delay was stressing people out and people were beginning to take this out on the poor cabin crew who had no idea on what was happening. Curious, at 11.00 pm or so all gates full in terminal 2 and then the bus. Never happened to me before.
