One is supposed to get EQM (1 EQM/$1) for bookings made with the UA Platinum Visa through united.bomb. But the .bomb being what it is, less than highly reliable, it often happens that one cannot get the flights/fares one wants using .bomb. When that happens, I call Web Support and ask them to make it happen through united.com, and I tell them I expect credit for the booking the same as if it had been made by me online with no human intervention (500 RDM bonus and EQM for $s charged). Sometimes I get the extra RDM and EQM, sometimes I don't.

Shouldn't we expect all that we would get through united.com if it were working properly? If I am not going to get that extra RDM and EQM, especially the later, then I will just book with a CSR taking as much of their time as necessary rather than waste huge amounts of time while someone in India struggles to figure it all out.
